Mokhled AlTarawneh received the B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Azetech University, Azerbaijan in 1991, M.Sc. from Ryukyus University, Japan in 2001 and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Newcastle University, UK in2008.
He is currently serving as an Associate professor of Computer Engineering in the department of Computer Engineering at Mutah University. Mokhled is serving as a Chairman of the department of Computer Engineering as well as a vice dean for student and quality assurance, as Director of Computer center from 2010 to 2013, Director of Admission and registration unit 2013 to 2015.
Mokhled is currently conducting research in Image Processing, Biometric Systems, Pattern Recognition, Computer Networks, and Cloud Computing areas. He is also interested in web computing and e-learning Systems. He is a full member of Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), member of Arab Computer Society (ACS), and International Engineers Association (IEA).
Dr. AlTararawneh is a Technical Committee member on image processing for International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED), the International Multi-Conference on Engineering and Technological Innovation (IMETI), International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications, VISAPP (2015, 2016,2017) and International Journal of Computer Science Issues (IJCSI) reviewer committee. He has published over twenty technical papers in Image Processing, Security, and Biometric Systems.
