Why we recognize reviewers

Peer review is essential to the quality and integrity of Informatica. We are grateful to reviewers who contribute their time and expertise to support fair, constructive, and timely editorial decisions.

Recognition options

Reviewers who complete reviews for Informatica may request the following forms of recognition:

1) Reviewer Recognition Certificate

We can issue an official Informatica Reviewer Recognition Certificate confirming your reviewing activity for the journal. Certificates are intended for academic reporting, promotion dossiers, and professional records.

What it can include (on request):

• your name and affiliation (as provided),
• the calendar year(s) of completed reviews,
• the journal name and editorial office signature/stamp (as applicable),
• confirmation that reviews were completed under the journal’s peer-review process.

To protect confidentiality, certificates do not include manuscript titles, author names, or other identifying details.

2) Confirmation / receipt of review

If you only need a brief confirmation (e.g., for institutional reporting), the editorial office can provide a short email confirmation of completed reviews.

3) Benefits for regular reviewers (UF discount eligibility)

Informatica welcomes regular reviewers who support the journal on an ongoing basis. Regular reviewers may qualify for a discount on the Ultra-Fast (UF) processing service fee when submitting their own work.

• Eligibility is based on documented reviewer activity (completed reviews) and is determined by the editorial office.
• Reviewer activity does not influence editorial decisions on the reviewer’s own submissions. All manuscripts are evaluated under the same editorial standards and peer-review requirements.

How to request recognition

To request a certificate or confirmation, email: technical-editor@informatica.si 

Please include:

• your full name (as you want it on the certificate),
• your affiliation,
• the year(s) for which you are requesting recognition,
• the email address you use in the journal system (if different),
• whether you want a certificate or a short confirmation.

Become a regular reviewer

We are actively seeking regular reviewers across computer science and informatics. Regular reviewers gain early access to emerging research, help shape the quality of the journal, and are eligible for reviewer recognition and benefits as described above.
